FAQs
what is a consultation and How do i book one?
A consultation is an opportunity for you to meet with the therapist to see if they might be the right fit for you. It’s a great time to ask any questions you might have about the therapy process. Consultations can be booked by clicking any “get started” button, by clicking the “contact” button, or by emailing the clinic directly at sno.psychotherapy@gmail.com.
are your services covered by insurance?
Psychotherapy sessions can be covered by private insurance plans. This clinic does not offer direct billing at this time. Clients can submit their psychotherapy receipts to their insurance providers for reimbursement after the session. We encourage every client to check with their insurance plans to confirm if psychotherapy services are included. As of right now, psychotherapy sessions are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).
How many sessions will i need?
In short, it depends! Financial limitations, time limitations, and goals are all important things that are considered when it comes to how many sessions may be beneficial to you. For a more detailed answer to this question, please book a consultation.
what is your availability?
The clinic is open for bookings on Tuesdays and Fridays for late morning, afternoon, and evening appointments.
Do you have an office?
As of right now, all psychotherapy sessions are conducted virtually over video.
how long are sessions?
Sessions can vary by length depending on what works best for you! Our clinic offers 50-minute sessions, 25-minute sessions, and 75-minute sessions depending on your needs.
