Our services
Psychotherapy for ADHD and/or Autism
At SNO Psychotherapy, our services are tailored to the unique experiences of women formally and self-diagnosed with ADHD and/or Autism. This service is for the women who are considered “high functioning”, the women who have spent years pushing through and masking their symptoms. Therapy can range from solution-focused approaches aimed at finding new ways to approach tasks and reduce stress or could look like a deeper exploration of identity and building self-compassion.
psychotherapy for Relationship issues
The decision to have a low- or no-contact relationship can be hard to navigate on your own. Our aim is to support this decision in a judgement-free space that allows clients to explore boundary-setting that’s in alignment with their own values. Using attachment theory, therapy can also help clients explore relational patterns, emotional responses, impacts of past relationships, and help support building healthy relationships going forward.
Psychotherapy for POTS
This service supports women navigating a POTS diagnosis and symptoms. At SNO Psychotherapy, we understand that adjusting to fluctuating symptoms that impact daily life can feel isolating. Our services are aimed at supporting symptom management and fluctuating energy that is sustainable and realistic. We’re also here to build self-advocacy skills to help clients navigate healthcare settings, communicate their needs, and trust their lived experience.
psychotherapy for anxiety & Perfectionism
This service is for the people who feel their efforts might not be “good enough”. This often shows up in students and high-achievers who might look like they’re doing well on the outside but feel immense pressure, stress, and anxiety on the inside. Therapy can help clients explore where ideas about “good enough” come from and can help clients develop a more flexible and sustainable relationship with work and achievement.
Types of therapy
Our clinic provides a range of evidence-based approaches to support the change you want to see in your life. However, what’s most important is that the therapy experience allows for trust, safety, and authenticity. We fundamentally believe that feeling understood and seen are the cornerstones for change. We take a holistic approach that considers all aspects of lived experience and work alongside you to find approaches that work best.

ACT is a therapy approach that explores client values and how we can relate to our thoughts and emotions differently. Rather than trying to “fix” or “get rid of” painful thoughts and feelings, ACT leans into acceptance and re-writes the ways we can relate to them through using values.
-
This approach is focused on learning to build awareness of thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations without judgement. This is often used to help people manage anxiety but can be useful for a variety of mental health goals.
-
This approach is rooted in the idea that we are authors of our lives and have the ability to write and re-write how we view ourselves and the world. This is a creative approach that allows for personalization and storytelling.
-
This therapy approach helps clients manage strong emotions and maintain relationships through practical skills. This approach also helps change the ways we think about our emotions and can help clients build hope.
-
This type of therapy is best suited for people who are interested in finding solutions to problems while focused on strengths. This approach is often used for neurodivergent folks who are looking for actionable solutions to challenges like decision paralysis and starting tasks, for example.
